Livonia Kiwanis Early Risers

Melissa Pilzner is the President for the Livonia Kiwanis Early Risers and Acting Lieutenant Governor for the Michigan District of Kiwanis. The Livonia Kiwanis has been making a difference in the lives of children in Livonia and its surrounding communities since 1982. Some of the group’s largest fundraisers raise money to purchase computers for graduating high school seniors, dictionaries for third graders, college scholarships, Livonia Public Schools Education Foundation grants, holiday food baskets, and much more! Livonia Civic Chorus

Melissa Pilzner is a Corporate Sponsor for the 50th, 51st, and 52nd (Current) Years of the Livonia Civic Chorus. The Livonia Civic Chorus prepares for two main performances a year – a winter holiday show in December and a spring show in May. With all of the enjoyment the L.C.C. brings into the community, Melissa quickly jumped on board to help make its 50th year its best, then continued to financially support the group in the following years. LBN Senior Support Services

Melissa Pilzner is the Social Media Chair and an active member of the LBN Senior Support Services Chapter. The purpose of the group is to bring together local experts in a variety of professions that cater a majority of their services to seniors. The chapter members meet twice per month to share experiences, discover synergies between businesses, and receive an in-depth educational session from a specific member business. As a senior, LBN Senior Support Services can provide you with a plethora of experienced professionals to work with – ranging from Medigap insurance and financial planning to in-home care and mortgage assistance. The Skyline Club

Melissa Pilzner is a Past Chair of the Emerging Leaders Committee and an active member of the Programming Committee at The Skyline Club in Southfield, MI. Within these committees, Melissa assists the staff in creating more events for young professionals and focuses on growing club membership. In addition, with the club’s ideal location at the Town Center buildings, Melissa utilizes the space as a second office, hosting a majority of her client meetings and events there each year. Southfield Area Chamber of Commerce

Melissa Pilzner is has volunteered as an Ambassador for and is a current member of the Southfield Area Chamber of Commerce. The purpose of the Southfield Area Chamber of Commerce is to be a catalyst, creating connections that strengthen and drive Michigan businesses. While creating connections through networking opportunities, educational seminars, luncheons, industry specific events, and community focused events – the chamber helps to build businesses and develop the local economy.
